this is a collection of some of my favorite albums. it goes from most-loved at the top to “slightly less loved” as you scroll down. it isn’t about which albums are objectively better — it’s just based on the ones i love the most and know the best. Some of these albums are definitely more dirty or low effort than others. like yeah, Post by björk has technically "better" production frequencies than hundred acre wrist by sematary grave man, but i listen to hundred acre wrist wayyyy more, so it’s higher. it’s just about what i keep coming back to. sometimes i don’t even know why certain albums stick the way they do; i just want them to be there because of how they feel. some of them sit so far inside my brain it’s like they’re part of my wiring. every album here means something to me, no matter where it lands on the list. if it made it onto this list at all, it’s special to me. ranking these was honestly kinda hard. click any album to open it on spotify.
