my body.......... My heart...
There are five organs necessary for human survival: the brain,
heart, kidneys, liver, and lungs.
While there are many other important organs, losing the complete function
of any of these five will result in death without immediate medical
intervention. Similarly, there are five vital virtues for the soul's
survival: Connection, Purpose, Wonder, Love, and Hope. Unlike the body,
though, there isn't a clear-cut definition of what the soul needs. For
example, in Christianity, nourishment for the soul comes from drawing
closer to God—or, in a more secular view, by cultivating deep
relationships and acts of kindness.
My point is, you are alive. But what makes you alive inside?
Why are you still here reading this?
For me, my connection with people keeps me alive. My purpose to create
keeps me alive. My wonder of the world and curiosity to experience new
things. My love for art, music, and myself. My hope that my life will
improve.
I feel as though my body and soul's nourishment is equally important—what
good is a healthy body without a healthy soul to enjoy it?
This page includes a few things that make me feel alive inside. I've included some of my favorite music live performances, and my favorite art and such. This page is text heavy, so sorry for that. I have lots to say. Thank you!

Crucifix — Giotto
I'm a big fan of rhis kind of christian art, idk what it's called lo. But where all the faces looks smooth and they all have the same knowing eyes and 3/4 profile. i saw this one in person at the lourve, and it is huge! i mean, not the biggest painting at the lourve at all lol, but it's large. It's covered in gold leaf, and i love how unique the shape is, and the 3d details. Like, the rocks at jesus' feet are 3d, and the entire piece is it's own frame. this is probably my favorite crucifix piece of all time, and that's saying a lot since there are soo many lmfao.

Venus and the Three Graces Presenting Gifts to a Young Woman - Sandro Botticelli
I also saw this one in person at the lourve, and i bought a poster of it there too, it hangs behind me as i type this. I love how light and airy fresco paintings look, and i feel like this really encapsulates that feeling. the three women are in motion, and even the cracks add a bit of beauty to it. Really, my favorite thing about this piece is the colors, it just feels like a very girly and beautiful piece. It feels happy.

The Kiss — Gustav Klimt
I loooove the kiss, and its been one of my favorites for a long time. I was introduced to klimt when i first watched elfen lied lol, i really love the intro to that anime. The unique sillouhette of the people is so simple, but the gold leaf and intricate patterns on everything else compliment it. i want to see this painting in person one day, its one of my goals. That, and i want to see the classic aphrodite painting in florence, i was rushed in florence and never got to see it! Anyways, this is the painting that comes to my mind when i think about my favorite painting, its just such a classic!
